Tomahawk Police Department reports

A woman called police saying that her neighbors on West
Leather Avenue were revving the engines on their vehicles after 11:00pm. She
also said the group was driving on her property keeping her and her husband up.
She said her husband was having a verbal confrontation the men that appeared to
be escalating. The husband was warned for Disorderly Conduct, as was a 30 year
old male suspect. Also a 31 year old man was given a 30 day warning to take
care of the unregistered vehicles and to get his muffler fixed.
Late Monday evening, a 72 year old man was awoken by a loud
exhaust. He looked out the window and saw what he described as a large dark
truck with a plow idling in front of his home. He felt that that man in the
vehicle was doing this to intimidate him in regards to an issue they had at the
VFW. Police advised the reporting party to call immediately next time.
On Wednesday a woman said she sold a vehicle to a 41 year old
man. She left the license plates with the vehicle until the man could get the
vehicle registered. She said the man wouldn't return the plates. An officer
accompanied the woman and the man became belligerent with the officer. He
eventually calmed and returned the plates to the woman.
A Wausau woman came to the police department to report a theft
at an unknown Tomahawk location. She said she was staying at a friends
residences, but didn't know where other than an apartment. When she awoke her
purse, wallet, around $80 in cash, cards, cellphone and camera were all
missing. She said she would report the serial numbers from the camera and phone
with area pawn shops and would contact the department for further
investigation.
An employee at What's Brewin' arrived and found an
unspecified amount of money missing from the register. The reporting party said
the back door was unlocked. Officers are investigating the break-in.
