Irma man pleads no contest

An Irma man has pled no contest to
charges he stabbed two people in April.
Larry Kidder entered the plea Friday to charges including
recklessly endangering safety and substantial battery. Prosecutors agreed to
drop an attempted homicide charge as part of a plea deal.
The court will schedule a sentencing hearing on October 27th.
Kidder faces a maximum 10-year sentence on the most serious charge.
According to police, Kidder stabbed a 50-year-old man and a
49-year-old woman multiple times at a town of Birch home in what may have been
a domestic dispute. The two suffered non-life threatening injuries. The two
were treated and later released after suffering non-life threatening injuries.
