North Fourth Street Reconstruction Project meeting
The
quarterly meeting for the North Fourth Street Reconstruction Project has been
moved up one week to Thursday, August 13.
The meeting Thursday morning will be at 7:30 am at the Sara Park
Activity Center. This is a very
important meeting, as city staff, DOT and Cedar Corp representatives will be on
hand to talk about moving the construction date for the bridge and street
reconstruction up to the fall of 2010.
The
Board of Public Works and the City Council will be taking official action on
this item at a special meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 19.
The
city needs to let the DOT know if they are interested in moving the project by
no later than August 21. If the
council chooses to move the project up, it would mean that construction would
start in late September of 2010.
