Woman identified in Kronenwetter
crash

Police have released the name of the
woman who died in a crash Friday in the Village of Kronenwetter.
According to a press release from the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation, 71-year-old Elizabeth Wolf of Marshall,
lost control of her vehicle on 1-39 near Maple Ridge Road.
Her car rolled over in the median. She was the only person in
the vehicle.
Wolf was transported to Aspirus
Hospital in Wausau where she was pronounced dead.
Those slick roads on Friday lead the Marathon County
Sheriff's office to receive more than 100 emergency calls within a 5 hour
period.
