Governor Doyle announces funding for Daigle Brothers project

Governor Jim Doyle announced on Thursday that Daigle Brothers, Inc. in Tomahawk would receive $150,000 in economic development tax credits.  Department of Commerce Secretary Richard Leinenkugel made the announcement on behalf of the Governor at the company’s Tomahawk facility.

Daigle Brothers, Inc. provides a wide variety of products and services within the durable goods market, including the fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel, structural steel and mechanical drafting.  Specialty truck racks and beds are additional products.  The company also provides custom machining services.

This project includes the construction of a 22,000-sq-ft. expansion in Tomahawk and the purchase of a CNC Plasma Table and related equipment.  Total cost of the project is $2.43 million.  The project is expected to create 20 additional jobs in addition to retaining 38 positions in Wisconsin.
