Southbound 51 near Tomahawk closed last night

The southbound lane of highway 51 in Tomahawk was closed following a crash last night.

The incident happened at just before 7:00pm near the off ramp to County Highway A.

Both southbound lanes were blocked for nearly an hour as crews were clearing the scene. Traffic was detoured on to the off-ramp at A then back on to the freeway.

The road was reopened to traffic at around 7:45.
