Mosinee man arrested after fighting with
officer

A Mosinee man was arrested Monday after fighting with
officers and threatening to kill their families according to court documents.
At around 5:30 Monday emergency crews were called to a
vehicle rollover on Old 51 in Mosinee. The driver, 46 year old David Galarowicz was taken from the scene by ambulance to Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The doctor discovered he was
intoxicated, and Galarowicz left against the doctor's
orders according to the criminal complaint.
He was found in a wooded area and then fought with officers
as they tried to handcuff him. According to the complaint he attempted to grab
the officer's gun and threatened the officers and their families.
He is facing charges of bail jumping, attempted battery to a
law enforcement officer, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct in
connection with the incident. His next court appearance is Jan. 4. He was also
issued a drunken driving citation.
