Tuesday, October 4, 2011
A
22 year old female was reported to be posting derogatory messages about a 25
year old female on Facebook. The victim blocked the
suspect and is now receiving messages through a 3rd party. A parent then got on
the phone and said she would seek a restraining order. Police advised to have
the victim bring documentation of the harassment. At that point, the victim
would no longer speak to the officer and could be heard yelling in the
background. She never brought in the documentation.
On Thursday evening a man
filed a report about a suspicious act involving his 90 year old mother. The
woman said the doorbell rang, when she answered there
were two young boys and an adult male. The adult had a beard and was holding a
golf club and said, 'we are here to play a game with you.' The woman shut the
door and locked it. While on the phone with the man, the doorbell rang again,
with no one visible through the window. The woman was instructed to call police
if the incident happened again.
A 19 year old male was
struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle near East Birchwood Road. The driver
stopped at the time and the victim said he was fine, so the driver left. The
victim attempted walking home, but felt pain and could not continue. The victim
said the vehicle was grey, while a witness said it was red or maroon.
A 33 year old Schofield
woman was stopped for speeding. Police conducted a field sobriety test, and the
woman was cited for first offense operating while intoxicated. The woman was released
to a responsible party.
There was a report of
vehicles racing up and down the runway at SARA Park. The reporting party also
said one of the vehicles was being driven with a male on the hood. An officer
spoke with the 3 16 year old boys, who admitted to doing so. They were given
verbal warnings, parents were contacted and will do
the disciplining.
A 19 year old male reported
a 16 year old male was hitting the windshield of his girlfriend's car, breaking
it into pieces with a baseball bat. Before an officer could arrive, the suspect
fled. An investigation is being conducted.
