Tomahawk Fall Ride to benefit MDA this weekend

The 28th Tomahawk Fall Ride to benefit MDA will be held in the Tomahawk area, with activities beginning on Thursday at Sara Park and at Bubba’s Big Party at Nokomis Community Park. 

On Friday there will be activities at Sara Park and at Harley Davidson’s Plant on Kaphaem Road in Tomahawk.

The Thunder Parade will line-up at the Tomahawk Elementary Parking lot at 5:30 pm, with the parade beginning at 6:00 PM.  Following the Thunder Parade there will be live music in downtown Tomahawk at 5:00 pm with Howard Luedtke & Blue Max on the east end and Oil Can Harry on the west end. 

At Bubba’s Big Party on Friday, live music begins at 2:00 pm with Tuck Penn, it’s Ireene Keenan at 4:00 pm, Jerry Schmitt & Country Express at 7:00 pm, Broadband at 8:30 pm and Amanda Overmyer at 10:30 pm.  Black Frog will play at Midnight.

On Saturday, there will be activities throughout the day at Sara Park, including vendor sales and Fall Ride merchandise.  The Harley Davidson Kaphaem Road Plant will have tours from 10:00 to 3:00 pm and the Wisconsin State Troopers Safety Demo from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

Tomahawk Speedway will hold the Konquer the Kage Biker Brawl, with doors opening at Noon and the fights starting at 2:00 pm.

In downtown Tomahawk there will be live music at 5:00 pm with Sassy Magoo on the east end and The Toys on the west end. 

At Bubba’s Big Party at Nokomis Community Park live entertainment starts at 1:00 pm with Tuck Penn and Ireene Keenan.  At 2:00 pm there will be a karaoke contest, and at 2:00 pm enjoy the 100 foot car jump through a wall of fire.  Hyde Rock will play at 7:00 pm, with Broadband at 8:30 pm, the Edgar Winter Band at 10:30 pm and Black Frog at Midnight.
