Three arrested on drug charges
On
Monday, September 21 at approximately Noon, law enforcement officials of the
Merrill Police Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department executed
a search warrant at 611 ½ North Poplar Street in the City of Merrill. The search of the residence revealed
approximately 25 individual packages of marijuana of various weights and five
units of ecstasy.
Additionally,
officials located and seized an amount of US Currency and items of drug
paraphernalia including a measuring device, packaging material and items used
to ingest controlled substances.
Persons
arrested at the residence were 19-year-old Genna J. Knorr, Ronnie P. Phillips
age 23, and Larry L. Thomas age 22.
These individuals were referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s
Office facing multiple felony drug offenses.
This
investigation is continuing and further arrests may result from the
investigation.
Knorr,
Phillips and Thomas were scheduled to appear at the Lincoln County Circuit
Court on Tuesday.
