Life sentence without parole for convicted killer
A man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend’s mother
was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
James LaHoud was convicted of murder in the death of
Charlotte Engle, and attempted homicide for wounding his ex-girlfriend Sarah
Engle last October.
LaHoud confronted Sarah Engle at her home when the
shooting took place.
LaHoud was told he would spend the rest of his life
behind bars at the sentencing hearing on Wednesday. He will not be eligible for early release or extended
supervision.
