A second person had died as a result of the two Forest County
New Years morning crashes.
Forty one year old Klynt Decorah
was walking along Highway 55 in the town of Nashville, when he was allegedly
struck by a vehicle, that then left the scene. Decorah
was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Nobert Polar of Crandon was eventually arrested in
connection and was still in jail.
Earlier that Sunday morning at around 12:45am a vehicle on
South Shore Drive left the roadway and struck several trees. Amy Griesbach of
Oshkosh was killed in that crash and Brian Griesbach
was arrested. Officials believe alcohol and speed may have been a factors in the crash.
