More details in Forest County crashes

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

A second person had died as a result of the two Forest County New Years morning crashes.

Forty one year old Klynt Decorah was walking along Highway 55 in the town of Nashville, when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle, that then left the scene. Decorah was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Nobert Polar of Crandon was eventually arrested in connection and was still in jail.

Earlier that Sunday morning at around 12:45am a vehicle on South Shore Drive left the roadway and struck several trees. Amy Griesbach of Oshkosh was killed in that crash and Brian Griesbach was arrested. Officials believe alcohol and speed may have been a factors in the crash.
