Tomahawk Police Department reports
Wednesday, January 4, 2012
On December 30, a man reported that his daughter's home was
broken into in the 20 block of South Tomahawk Avenue. He said that the door was
broken into. An officer is investigating the burglary.
On Friday afternoon a 19 year old male said he was struck in
the parking lot while walking at a Tomahawk gas station. He says the vehicle
drove off without stopping, so he got in his car and followed until pulled
over. The DePere woman who was driving the other vehicle said she was backing
up slowly and did not realize the man was struck. They said they left because
of the way the victim was acting. There were no injuries reported, and the two
parties spoke about the incident and all was well.
At around 4am Sunday morning a woman reported that a 36 year
old male came home intoxicated and disorderly. After running a records check,
officers discovered the reporting party had an active warrant in Shawano
County. The warrant was confirmed and the 38 year old female was transferred to
the Lincoln County Jail.
Also on Sunday a 28 year old female told officers that a 27
year old female and a 31 year old male were sending text messages, some
threatening. The female suspect was upset that the reporting party and the male
were texting each other. All three parties were warned that they would receive
citations if the harassing actions continued.
