Area meetings tonight

There is a full list of meetings today. The Personnel Committee of the Tomahawk Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 4:45 to discuss the first draft of the library personnel policy with benefits handbook.

The School District of Tomahawk will have a special board retreat at 6 at Tomahawk Community Bank.

The city of Merrill will hold a public hearing at 6 for a rezoning at 1004 E. 1st Street.

The city of Tomahawk will be holding their monthly meetings, beginning with the planning and zoning commission at 8. New business includes approval of the site plan for Tomahawk Dairy Queen and a Warehouse liquor sign. The board of public works will meet at 5 with a five year capital street project plan and municipal lot permit parking fees on the agenda. The finance committee will meet at 6, license and permits at 6:30 and the council at 7. The council has 2 ordinances on the agenda, as well as a letter from the Tomahawk Library Board regarding concealed carry. The ordiances are the 2010-2012 salary ordinance and creating Minimum housing code of chapter 18 buidling regulations. I will be attending the evening's meetings and will have a full recap tomorrow on the morning show.
