Tomahawk man injured in logging accident
Deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and EMS responded to a logging accident in the Town of Skanawan on Saturday afternoon. A 911 call reported the incident on South Twin Lake Road at 2:30 pm.
Thomas J. Kahle, 53, was working with others to clear trees on some property when a tree struck him from behind.
Kahle was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital by Tomahawk EMS and then flown by the Spirit to the trauma center at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
As of Sunday evening,
Tom Kahle’s condition was improved, and he was considered in fair condition.
