Tomahawk Christmas tree pick-up

Now that the Christmas holidays are over, the city of Tomahawk will begin collecting trees.

The curb side pick up from residential properties will begin next Monday. The collection will run through January 20, but after that date residents must dispose of their Christmas trees at the old city garage site on South Tomahawk Avenue.

Trees should be placed with the butt end facing the street. Plastic bags and any other items should be removed from the tree prior to placement. Any questions about the collection should be directed to the city clerks office.
