Tomahawk Police Department reports

Last Thursday an officer was requested at the
school regarding a parent that got on a school bus. The reporting party
indicated she got on and rode to the school and wouldn't get off. The woman
said her child was being called names. Police made contact with all parties
involved at the school. The officer said they worked the situation out and no
intervention was needed.
A Tomahawk man said he was leaving for work and a
24 year old Merrill man was asleep on his floor who had a warrant. Police
arrived and another resident let the officer in. The suspect was asleep on the
floor. The probation hold was confirmed and the suspect was transported to the
Lincoln County Jail.
On around 2:30 in the morning Friday, an officer
was dispatched to a Tomahawk residence for a domestic disturbance. The
reporting party said a 27 year old female was breaking plates and windows. She
was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct. She was first take to the
hospital for a cut, then transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.
Over the weekend on highway 51, a snowmobile
trailer being pulled by a vehicle had the roof disconnect. The incident
occurred near the Wisconsin River Bridge in the Northbound Lane. An oncoming
vehicle struck the roof resulting in damages to both. The trailer wound up well
off the road and the owner indicated it would be picked up the following
morning.
