Area meetings

There are several area meetings taking place throughout the day evening.

The Tomahawk Park and Recreations Committee will meet at 5:00. New on the agenda is SARA Park Campground estimates. They will also discuss some ongoing business including the Animal Ordinance, Park User Fees, and updates on Bradley Park and the Skate Board Park.

The Tomahawk School Board will hold their monthly meeting tonight at 6:30. That meeting will take place in the Middle School Library rather than in the High School. The agenda has the normal reports from staff and students, plus approval of trips and the 2012-13 budget projection.

The Merrill City Council will meet at 7:00 this evening in their City Hall Council Chambers. Their agenda includes a contract with the Police Officers, and an ordinance prohibiting firearms in public buildings which has already had two readings at previous meetings.
