Two Lincoln County accidents

There were two separate accidents in the Lincoln County yesterday and each sent someone to the hospital.

The first occurred yesterday morning at just before 6 when a logging truck was traveling north on highway 51, attempting to turn. A passenger vehicle struck the rear tires of the the logging trailer. The 24 year old driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to Good Samaritan and then flown to Marshfield with non-life threatening injuries.

The second crash occurred at the intersection of Memorial Drive and E. 6th Street in Merrill at just after noon. When officials arrived all individuals were out of their vehicles. One teen was eventually transported to Good Samaritan by ambulance. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
