Lincoln County
Tuesday, January 5, 2010
On Monday, January 4 at approximately 4:40 pm, the
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of possible drug activity
at a remote cabin on Tug Lake Road in the Town of Rock Falls. Deputies and investigators from the
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded, and discovered numerous precursors
used to manufacture methamphetamine.
A search warrant was obtained, and narcotic
investigators from Lincoln County in conjunction with the Department of
Criminal Investigations, discovered more evidence of items from a clandestine
laboratory to manufacture methamphetamine.
Taken into custody was David Beinfang, 39, of Merrill,
who is currently in the Lincoln County Jail waiting numerous charges related to
manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine.
This will be the sixth clandestine laboratory located
by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit in the last
six month period that resulted in criminal charges being filed with the
District Attorney’s Office.
