On Monday a woman reported that someone keyed her vehicle while parked on W. Spirit Avenue. There were scratches to both the front and rear door on the driver's side. The reporting party though the suspect may have been a man who reported her dog barked at him while he was on the sidewalk across the street. At the time of that incident the man yelled and talked about euthanasia. The woman felt intimidated by the man at the time. She did not know his name or where he lived.

Police were called for an emergency detention on Wednesday. A reporting party said that a 64 year old woman ingested medication and was en route to the store for more, and was also reportedly carrying a knife. The woman was located and an officer brought her to the hospital for clearance. The officer stayed, as the woman was being uncooperative. She was eventually transported to the Marathon County Health Care Center.
