Four arrested in Oneida
County burglaries
Thursday, January 7, 2010
The Forest County and Oneida
County Sheriff’s Office report on Thursday that their agencies have made
arrests related to burglaries that have occurred in the past several months.
The original investigation
stemmed from numerous commercial tavern and resort burglaries in and around the
Oneida County area. On December
28, 2009 a Forest County Deputy on routine patrol made contact with a suspicious
individual. This contact led to
arrests in Forest County for burglary.
As a result of that arrest and subsequent investigation, four men were
arrested and referred to the Oneida County District Attorney for numerous
burglaries that occurred in Oneida County. The four are suspected of being involved in burglaries
throughout North Center Wisconsin.
The four arrested are: Benjamin Marquardt, 30 of Rhinelander, Joshua
Schoeneck, 27 of Rhinelander, Andy Krombholz, 24 of Rhinelander and Dustin
Miller, 23 of Rhinelander.
Investigators from Oneida
and Forest Counties along with the Rhinelander Police Department are continuing
to work with other law enforcement agencies and the crime victims to recover
stolen property and resolve the reported burglaries.
