Two people were injured after a two vehicle crash Thursday morning on US Highway 51 near Tamarack Lane. Several 911 calls reported the crash at 10:30am. A 19 year old Tomahawk man and a 59 year old Marshfield man were both traveling north on 51 when their vehicles collided and then struck the bridge. Both men were trapped in their vehicles and freed by rescue personnel. They were each transported to Ministry Sacred Heart and then transferred to Aspirus in Wausau by ambulance where they were treated and released.

A 56 year old New London man was taken into custody following a 1 vehicle crash Friday evening in the town of Harrison. A cell call reported the incident on Lon Basco Lane at just before 8. The man was traveling north when his vehicle went off the roadway and rolled down a ravine. The man admitted drinking before the crash and following a field sobriety test was taken into custody on a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was brought to the jail and was released the following day when sober.

A 43 year old Tomahawk man was taken into custody Saturday evening after deputies responded to a reckless driver report. A caller reported following a vehicle on County Rd. E that was all over the roadway. Deputies located the truck at a residence on County Rd. O. The driver was taken into custody on a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was later released to a responsible party.
