Vehicle stolen, recovered

Lincoln County deputies are seeking information on a vehicle that was stolen and then recovered.

A Merrill man reported his 2004 Dodge truck was stolen from the parking lot of an establishment on County K north of Merrill. He told deputies he was in the tavern for a couple of hours Friday and when he came outside it was missing.

The following evening, a resident on Lake Pesobic Rd. reported a strange vehicle by his home, which turned out to be the missing truck.

Deputies located shoe prints leading from the truck onto Lake Pesobic.
