Rhinelander man sentenced in stabbing

The Rhinelander man accused of
stabbing another man last year in Forest County was sentenced to 6 months in
jail.
Twenty one year old Jeremiah Erickson
pleaded no contest and was given 3 years probation in addition to the jail
time. He was charged with 2 felonies, including first-degree reckless injury
and aggravated battery. The judge in sentencing noted how dangerous the
situation could have been.
He is accused of stabbing 22 year old William Priebe in the
chest last July in the Town of Nashville. Priebe's father testified yesterday
about the seriousness of the incident.
