The Rhinelander man accused of stabbing another man last year in Forest County was sentenced to 6 months in jail.

Twenty one year old Jeremiah Erickson pleaded no contest and was given 3 years probation in addition to the jail time. He was charged with 2 felonies, including first-degree reckless injury and aggravated battery. The judge in sentencing noted how dangerous the situation could have been.

He is accused of stabbing 22 year old William Priebe in the chest last July in the Town of Nashville. Priebe's father testified yesterday about the seriousness of the incident.
