One Medford teen dies, three injured in rollover

A Medford teen has died as a result of a rollover crash in Taylor County.

Four teens were traveling on Hall Drive in a rural part of the county at around 4:00pm. The vehicle swerved to avoid hitting a dog, skidded out of control and rolled onto its top. Police say that none of the occupants had their seatbelts on.

All four teens were taken to Memorial Hospital. A 17 year old female was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital where she later died. The 16 year old driver, as well as two other passengers, were treated and later released.

The crash remains under investigation.
