Three year old killed

On Friday February 20^th, 2010 at approximately 4:50pm the Langlade County Sheriff’s Department dispatch center received a call from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department reporting an accident at a residence on County Line Road in the western portion of Langlade County.

Investigation revealed a 3-year-old child, Curtis J Derstine, had been struck and accidentally run over by a vehicle in the driveway of the family home. The child was pronounced dead at the scene by the Langlade County Coroner’s office.

Town of Russell Fire and Ambulance and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department assisted Langlade County Sheriff’s Department on the scene.
