4 Lincoln County burglary suspects appear in court

The four men arrested Wednesday following a break-in at the Dugout Bar in Merrill appeared in court yesterday afternoon.

Deamon Boettcher and Michael Wienandt of Merrill, James Madden of Wausau and Tony Hurburt of Durand will all face felony charges of theft and burglary.

The owner of the bar arrived at the scene after the burglars tripped a security system. He said they smashed several items including gambling machines, took a flat screen television off the wall and stole $1,500. He also said the men had guns.

Boettcher and Madden are next scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday the 25th and Weinandt and Hurburt on February 2.
