Lincoln County Jail escapee caught near Crandon

Derek Gervais is back in custody. The Crandon Police Department became involved in the investigation on Monday afternoon. Acting on a tip, a Crandon Police Officer, along with deputies from the Forest County Sheriff’s Department took Gervais into custody near Armstrong Creek just before 9:00 pm Monday night.

Gervais will be returned to the Lincoln County Jail where he will face an additional charge of escape.
