Lifelong Lincoln County resident announces candidacy for 35^th Assembly

Lifelong Lincoln County resident and business owner Jeremy Cordova (R-Tomahawk) has announced his candidacy for the 35^th State Assembly District. Cordova is a partner at Murphy Insurance Group Utech Agency Inc. in Merrill.

Cordova graduated from Tomahawk High School and earned a bachelor of science from UW-Madison. He is the 2010 Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce President. He also serves on the Lincoln County Sports Club board of directors and is a director for the Headwaters Builders Association as well as President of the Lincoln County Archery Club. He is an active member of the Merrill Rotary Club and attends St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.

The 35^th Assembly District includes Lincoln County, southwest Langlade County, southwest Oneida County and some of northern Marathon County. The primary will be held on September 14, 2010, and the General Election will be November 2, 2010.
