Award winning author to speak in Tomahawk

Tomahawk Elementary and Middle school students will be joined by an award winning childrens author.

Ben Mikaelson, who has written several novels, will be discussing his books, bullying and how students can write their own stories. His 750 pound pet black bear named Buffy is sure to come up as well. He will be meeting with students this morning.

Teachers from the elementary will meet with Mikaelson at their in-service where he will speak about Positive Teaching Methods.

The generosity of the STAR Foundation, The Tomahawk Elementary PTO, Kinship, The Writer's Guild Title 1 and the Tomahawk Middle school are making his visit possible.
