Grandparents raising grandchildren group

Today is the first of three scheduled meetings for the Grandparents raising Grandchildren Support Group.

The idea of the group is to join other grandparents and relatives to support each other and learn techniques to assist in raising children.  The program is being run through the UW extension-Lincoln County. The topic for tonight's meeting is legal issues.

The group will meet again in November and December, with future topis including, communication and feelings and parenting techniques.

The meetings will take place at the Tomahawk Middle School Library at 6:30. For those seeking more information, contact Bonnie Rudie, the Family Living Educator at 715-539-1072.
