Wausau Firefighters face grill fires

For the consecutive day, Wausau Firefighters responded to a fire caused by a grill.

Late Monday evening they were called to a fire caused by an unattended grill left on the porch of an apartment complex. One person suffered minor injuries, and firefighters were required to cut an area of the wall to ensure the fire hadn't spread.

Then yesterday embers from another grill spread to a garage on First Avenue. Investigators say the coals were dumped there, but were still too hot. Both the garage and a storage building sustained significant damage.
