Germans coming to Tomahawk

A group of students from Germany will
be traveling to the Northwoods to experience life
here the rest of the month.
25 German Students, plus two teachers will be welcomed to
Tomahawk and are expected to arrive today. The students will come from a
partner school in Ladenburg, Germany.
Tomahawk Students will host the students for the next two
weeks, while they attend classes, give presentations about German and European
Culture and learn about the community through field trips.
At the
end of their stay, they will travel to Chicago to site-see before flying home. Next July, the Tomahawk students will
complete the exchange by traveling to Germany and attending school with their
hosts.
This will be the 8th year that Tomahawk High School has take
part in the exchange. They take place every two years and are made possible by
the German American Partnership Program.
