Autopsy
planned for Tuesday
Tuesday,
March 25, 2008
An autopsy on the body of a 25-year-old Tomahawk
convenience store clerk is expected to be completed on Tuesday after an
apparent robbery turns into murder in Tomahawk.
At Monday afternoon’s press conference at Tomahawk
City Hall, Tomahawk Chief of Police Don Johnson stated that Rochelle Anderson
of Irma was found, apparently stabbed to death on Saturday night outside the
Zephyr Fuel gasoline convenience store on North Fourth Street where she was a
clerk.
A weapon described as “sharp edged” was used during
the murder, although Chief of Police Johnson indicated no official cause of
death.
Chief Johnson stated Monday that at this time, there
was nothing to give him cause to believe that the murder-robbery was a random
act or other persons were in immediate danger or risk.
Meanwhile, the police tape surrounding the Zephyr
Fuel location was taken down late Monday afternoon.
