Residents
on 6th street reported that they had several Halloween Decorations stolen from
their residence. Included in the stolen items were 2 skeletons and 2 skulls.
They also reported that someone had kicked in their garage door the previous
week. They wanted the information on file in case the items were found.
A teen was struck by a
vehicle over the weekend at around 5:30. The 15 year old girl was on a bicycle
on North 4th Street. She had minor scrapes and a knot on her head. She was
taken to Sacred Heart for clearance.
A man called to report that
his apartment was broken in to on West Somo Avenue, as the window was loose. He
later learned that a man was returning an item he had borrowed by removing the
window which later fell loose. The initial burglary claim was unfounded.
A man on West spirit Avenue
reported that his Ipod was stolen from his vehicle early in the morning the
previous weekend. He also said his trunk and glove compartment were open. The
17 year old male arrested last week is suspected.
A man reported being
attacked by his neighbors two dogs, but he said he did not require an
ambulance. When officers met with the victim, he said he was not bitten but the
dogs were in his yard and aggressive. He then said he did not want to pursue it
further. The dog owner was given a verbal warning and in the future citations
will be issued. She said the dogs are being taken to the humane society.
