Marathon County to ban concealed weapons in buildings

Marathon County leaders voted 21-10 tonight to ban weapons inside of county buildings.

The new county policy bans you from carrying any firearm, dangerous weapon or stun gun concealed while in any county building when the state's new concealed carry law takes effect November 1st.

State law already bans you from carrying concealed in any building that houses court offices, sheriff's departments and jails.
