Suspect will stand trial in Tomahawk murder

A Lincoln County judge is
ordering a Tomahawk man to stand trial in the murder of 25-year-old Rochelle
Anderson.
Lincoln
County Judge Glenn Hartley bound over 18 year old Derek Domke for trial at a
preliminary hearing on a first-degree homicide charges on Thursday morning.
According
to the criminal complaint, Domke allegedly robbed and killed Rochelle Anderson
outside the Zephyr Fuel convenience store in Tomahawk where she worked as a
clerk. The complaint says
investigators found Domke’s handprint in Anderson’s blood in the men’s bathroom
at the convenience store.
Witnesses
testifying at the preliminary hearing included Tomahawk Police Chief Don
Johnson, a crime scene investigator, the doctor who performed the autopsy and
the manager of Zephyr Fuel.
Domke
is scheduled to enter a plea on Monday, June 23, 2008
