Vilas County searching for drug bust suspect

Vilas County authorities are still searching for a drug bust suspect who escaped from a hospital September 9.

53 year old Thomas J. Wilde was arrested for running an indoor marijuana-growing operation. He was taken to the Howard Young Medical Center for a health issue when he escaped.

On September 9, investigators issued search warrants at a home in Lac du Flambeau and found the large indoor marijuana grow. They confiscated plants, dried marijuana and money. Both Wilde and Arlene Poupart, 41, were arrested.
