WJJQ SNOWMOBILE REPORT
Join Northwoods 92-5, WJJQ for our live snowmobile reports at 7:30 am, 12:30 pm and 5:10 pm. (Updated 1/20/20)
It was a great weekend of riding here in the Northwoods with more to come.
The trails were already rounding into mid-season form, and this past weekend's snow and cold temperatures helped. A majority of the trails are now in GOOD condition and nearing very good.
The lake trails are still in early season form. Likewise, the wetland areas still have some rough patches. There are still some swampy spots that groomers are avoiding. Same warning applies, stay near the barrels on lakes.
Outside of those issues because of the late freeze, it's going to be another great week of riding.
It looks like some mild temperatures for the end of the week. The trails are at the point where a couple of days of warmer temperatures won't have a big impact.
Please use caution out on the trails. It's International Snowmobile Safety Week.
