Trail Conditions
The Hiawatha Trail in Tomahawk, WI from SARA Park north to the Lincoln/Oneida County Line, will open for snowmobile use as of 4:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025.
All other Lincoln County snowmobile trails will remain closed at this time. Please be aware that the Hiawatha Trail is NOT open to ATV use.
The Rhinelander area received 10.8 inches of snow last night. Hodag Sno-Trails groomers are out working hard, preparing the trails, and things are shaping up nicely. Please be advised that you may encounter low-hanging branches or fallen trees. We received some ice before the heavy snow, so giving branches a quick shake should help them pop right back up. It will take a few days for our machines to get through our entire trail system. Get out and enjoy the fresh snow, ride with caution, and stay on the trail.
